Question about Nintendo Wii Console

Blank screen and remote will not connect, only flashes

Hi, First time I have turned the Wii on and I see a picture asking to slect language. I slect the language and the screen freezes. I then reset the console and all I see is a blank screen and the Wiimote will not turn on, only flashes the lights and goers back off again. Any clues? or should I send back to the shop for a replacement?

When wii is turned on the start screen that shows the remot and asks to hit a comes up in three different languages can not move pass that? Remotes not responding

try syncing your remote by doing the following (and make sure batteries are good)
  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the Player LED will blink. Quickly press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).

Our wii remote wont turn on. we tried new batteries and all it does is the blue lights flashes and turns off. What is wrong and how can we fix it

Sounds like it's not synchronizing with the infrared bar. That might've come loose. Double check to make sure that's plugged into the Wii. If that's not connected the Wii Remote will not stay on because it's not connecting.

How do i sync my remotes with my nintendo wii, four blue lights flashing but not working with picture on screen, cannot get off first screen when wii turns on. cheers

Hi there,
You need to press the red button under the protection cap for the SD card reader AT THE SAME TIME AS the one under the battery protector on the remote. Sometimes, it takes more than one try to get it to work.
Hope this helps,
Regards

Wii turns on but has no picture or sound

You could try resetting it by taking out the motherboard battery.

It is on the bottom at the back under a plastic cover.

You may need a tri wing screwdriver to remove the cover.

Try taking this out for a couple of hours and it will reset it.

Hope this helps,

Problem setting up the Wii

Try aiming the remote at the screen ( Providing you have your sensor set up) till you see the little hand pop up and use that to click on the English tab with the A button.

I hope that helped...
