How do I download songs onto my phillips gogear cam

  • Charge your Philips GoGear ViBE for at least three hours before turning it on.
  • 2 Insert the small end of your mini USB cable into your GoGear ViBE. Insert the other end of this cable into one of your computer's USB ports. Turn your GoGear ViBE on by pressing and holding the "Power" button for two seconds.
  • 3 Insert the Philips GoGear ViBE software disc into your computer's CD-ROM drive. Follow the onscreen prompts to install it.
  • 4 Open "Computer" from the "Start" menu and locate the GoViBE icon to make sure it has been successfully connected to your computer.
  • 5 Navigate to your music files. If you're unsure about their location, start by looking in the "Music" folder under the "Start" menu.
  • 6 Drag and drop your music files from their folder onto the GoViBE icon in your "Computer" window.
  • 7 Right-click the USB icon with the green arrow, located in your taskbar, to disconnect your device. Click "Safely Remove hardware," then wait until your computer confirms that it's safe to remove the device. Disconnect the USB cable from both your computer and your GoGear ViBE.
  • 8 Select the musical note icon from the main menu of your GoGear ViBE to open your music files. Navigate to the sub-folders section, and select a song from either the artist, album, track list or genre. Press the "Play/Pause" button to begin playing a song

I've never inserted a cd rom in my computer this small. my laptop does not have a tray. will the dic get lost in my computer

No. On the tray there should be a deeper indention than one for a normal sized disc, and the disc should fit in it well.

What is the cd rom disc for becaues mine broke i need help

CD ROM disk comes with your MP3 audio/video player and it contains software needed for your player. However, if your disc has broken, then you can download the software from Philips site.

You can download Philips Songbird from this link:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?tmplt=ePlatform%20-%20Philips&scy=US&slg=AEN&sct=FLASH_AUDIO_PLAYER_SU&cat=MP3_MEDIA_PLAYERS_CA&session=20110227021546_125.18.127.111&grp=SOUND_AND_VISION_GR&ctn=SA2VBE04KW/17&mid=Link_Software&hlt=Link_Software

Songbird is used to transfer media files as well as repair your player.

Hope this helps.

I have the gogear SA1ARAO2 the cd-rom that came with it is to small to fit in my pc i have aside by side pc the tray comes top tobottom not front way's so ican i get the mannel

OK you need to use a Horizontal mounted DVD, Perhaps from a friend, the min-DVD WILL fit into middle ring of normal CD/DVD, use that and copy to USB drive, then take USB drive to PC that cannot use CD, and use from USB drive. Problem Solved.

How do i delete unwanted songs from my mp3 player?

You do this via your computer. Plug the USB connector into GoGear, and into your USB port on your computer. You open the "Virtual Disc" that has been creaated when you installed the CD, (See disc drives in 'My computer')
Hope this helps
