Hotmail and gmaail are different systems. I don't think that you can configure hotmail to work in Mail.

I can't received my email using window 10 livemail, need help

No you haven't. :>)

LiveMail is now dead as they used a system called DeltaSynch.

You have to set up brand new accounts using a system called IMAP. Once your mail accounts with Hotmail or MSN are set up, your mail will load. Once you have it all, check the mail and folders in both accounts and then delete the original accounts.

Hotmail IMAP Settings To configure your Hotmail with an email client that supports IMAP and SMTP, you can use the following settings in your email app.
Incoming (IMAP) Server
  • Server address: imap-mail.outlook.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encrypted Connection: SSL
Outgoing (SMTP) Server
  • Server address: smtp-mail.outlook.com
  • Port: 25 (or 587 if 25 is blocked)
  • Authentication: Yes
  • Encrypted Connection: TLS
User name: Your full Hotmail email address, including '@hotmail.com'.
Password: Your Hotmail account password
Normally you should set up your Hotmail account via IMAP protocol. Basically IMAP sync your Hotmail account among different devices and computers, not only the Inbox folder. Also any operation you performed one a device will be synced to the Hotmail server and other devices or mail clients connected to your Hotmail account. POP3 however simply download your emails from your Inbox folder offline. You can them manage emails on your local computer. However under some circumstances, you may also find POP3 mail actually works better than IMAP email. Check out more details here: What are POP3, IMAP and their pros and cons?

Why can't I connect to my hotmail account from my IPAD?

If you are using iOS 7 and want to connect your hotmail account so that it is the account you see when you use the iPad's "Mail" app, do this:
  1. Open the "Settings" app
  2. Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" (on the left)
  3. Tap "Add Account" (on the right)
  4. Tap "Outlook.com"
  5. Fill in the blanks (your hotmail email address & password)
  6. Pick which hotmail stuff you want to sync with your iPad
  7. Tap Save.
(If you see "Unable to verify account information", double-check your email address & password).

Need to setup email on iphon 3gs. I need step by step info.

Setting up email accountsEmail account setup with Mail is easy. If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account.
If you're setting up a Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL account, touch the icons for those services on the Add Account screen and enter your account information. If you're setting up an email account from another provider, select Other. In software version 2.0 or later, Mail can automatically setup many popular POP and IMAP email accounts using just your email address and password.1 As Mail looks up settings that match your email account you may see a note appear that will describe any limitations you may experience in using your email account. If Mail cannot find the settings needed to setup your email account, refer to the documentation from your email provider on how to manually setup an email account.
Syncing email account settings to iPhone
You use iTunes to sync your email account setttings to iPhone or iPod touch. iTunes supports Mail on a Mac, and Microsoft Outlook (2007 or 2003) and Outlook Express on a PC. See article "Syncing iPhone " for further details.

Note: Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves. Whether the messages in your inbox appear on both iPhone or iPod touch and your computer depends on the type of email account you have and how it's configured. You may need to enter your password on the device after syncing account settings.

Yahoo Mail search not working on Mac using latest Safari

Problem doesn't have anything to do with your browser, and everything to do with your choice of free Mail provider. Yahoo's Mail search regularly breaks, and you need to contact them and get them to do a "vespa sync" on your account. Try the Help -> Contact Us section of their website.

if you are trying to send an email from an old isp mail account, using a different isp email connection; you have to change the mail.smtp settings, for the settings you will need to refer to your isp. If you are trying to send an email using a hotmail account, this can no longer be done as hotmail no longer allow the use of outlook express with their accounts
