Problem for Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-36XBR800 36" TV

Sony KV-36XBR800 Video mode stays on screen all the time

I have the Sony KV-36XBR800 and it works just fine except that the Video mode stays up on the screen and never goes away. Even if you change video modes to watch a DVD. How can I fix this? Is it an easy fix? Thanks

I tried that with no luck so I reset the TV and now its gone but my picture is not as good as before the reset. I have cable tv and use a DVR. I'm at a loss. I went into the menu and adjusted the brightness and color and contrast but the picture is still not as clear.

Very easy fix.....just press the "display" button on the remote control so that the on screen display is turned off when you are watching TV.
