Downloading photos from internal memory to my memory card
I have a Kodak DX7590, and I can no longer download photos directly from my camera to the computer, so I use a card reader instead. That is fine, but I took some photos the other day without the card in my camera, and now I want to transfer the photos that are in the internal memory to the card so that I can download them.

I'm suspecting that you are trying to use a new 4GB or larger SDHC card with your older model camera. Please note that your model camera can only use 2GB or less standard SD cards (and NOT SDHC). 2GB SD cards are inexpensive, and still available on Amazon.com if your local store no longer carries them.
hi. if you can open the camera specially in cards slot, try to desolder and resolder the card slot.some time the loose contact of the pin between the board and cardslot are cause of problem like fromat your memory card, cardlock and not readung the memory.

If so then i suggest you purchase a card reader,
take the card out of the camera and put it into the the card reader,
plug that directly into your PC and transfer the photo's to your PC.
you don't have them on a memory card
but on the camera's internal memory, put in a memory card and transfer
the photo's to that using the camera's menu. Then you can use the card
reader to get your photo's on your PC.
Card readers are fairly
inexpensive and can cost anything from $2 - $40 (£1 - £25-30) Please
post back if you require anymore help or advice. Regards.
Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB)
The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card. You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.
Hello Charlie, Hook your camera directly to your PC with the USB cable, The computer should see Kodak Easyshare, Double click on it to open and check in the folder shown for your photos and down load or delete them as you wish. As far as the SD card error it sounds like possible camera firmware problem,go to Kodak website under support for Dx7590 for the firmware and instructions. Best Regards, Russell
It is not a matter of downloading the photos. Your camera will say your "memory card is full" when that is needed.
Go into the menu on the camera and scroll down to the Image Storage menu and turn in from Internal Memory to Auto. Should do the trick.
