1. Remove the second Wii Remote's battery cover and insert two AA batteries into the device. 2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Push and release the console's "SYNC" button. 3. Push and release the "SYNC" button below the Wii Remote's batteries. 4. Wait for the Wii Remote LED to stop blinking. 5. Replace the Wii Remote battery cover. 6. Snap
the Wii Remote into the back of the second Logitech Wireless Guitar
Controller for Wii. Your second guitar will then use your Wii Remote's
power and synchronization to the console and respond to Guitar Hero.
First of all make sure your guitar hero controller turns on and flash's. Next, you will see at the bottom of the guitar hero controller there is a little button. On your Xbox 360 there should also be a syncbutton which you use to sync controllers. Hold the sync button down on your Xbox and at the same time on your guitar hero controller as well. You should see that the lights on your xbox and controller spin round and then flash a few time in till displaying one light next to the appropriate number. Please note that you cannot use a Rock band controller on Guitar hero. If You controller still does not connect then try changing the batteries in case they are low, but if the problem continues to persist then you shall have to call Xbox customer support by going to www.Xbox.co.uk .
Wireless guitar may have been damaged and if so you might have to buy a new controler for guitar hero . Its not the xbox 360 its the Wireless guitar the If sensor is either broken of a loose wire inside the guitar is causing the problem . If the problem persist do NOT open the guitar go buy a used one from gamestop or online . Amazon has cheap replacements around 10-15$ depending what wireless guitar your buying .

What you need to do is plug the microphone into the xbox 360, then you need to connect a regular 360 controller to the xbox... there are not any buttons on the microphone which is why the controller is needed.
Most likely you havent connected it to your xbox.... on the guitar there should be a tiny button that which is probably the size of a pea... if even. then on your xbox there is the same button on the front of the xbox..... push both of those buttons and it should connect.
Im guessing due to needing batteries that your Guitar is the Wireless type ?!
Have you correctly Synchronised your Xbox 360 with the Guitar controller ?
to do this, Turn on the Xbox and Guitar press the round "sync" button on the bottom of the guitar, next to its Ethernet port, and also press the small round sync button on the Xbox 360 (located to the left of the memory slots on the front face) at the same time, the rings of light on both the Xbox and the guitar will Turn in a clockwise motion letting you know they are synching, after that the Xbox will assign the guitar to a controller slot. then it should work.
If this doesn't work then im afraid your guitar may have a faulty wireless chip, which would require you to get a replacement.
