Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer

1 Answer

The water does not drain away at the beginning of the programme.

When starting my Whirlpool ADG 644 WH there is usually the sound of water being drained away before the cleaning cycle begins. A small amount of water enters but does not flow away through the filter.

Cheers Ronnieh, does this apply to the dishwasher as for some reason my post mentions a top load washing machine. If it is for the dishwasher do you suggest I call in an engineer?

How do i reset my whirlpool adg 7460 dishwasher ? programme seems stuck on end cycle?

Unplug it, move timer to start and plug back in. If it still seems stuck at the end it is almost certainly the timer. If it starts as normal, suspect the drain pump or pressure switch

Dishwasher not completing the programme and water not draining away.

check for a drain clog. If not clogged, your drain pump in the washer may need servicing.

WHERE CAN i GET A SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM FOR A wHIRLPOOL dISHWASHER MOD ADG 644 NB

Schematic SHOULD be located either on the back of the dishwasher itself, like a decal........ or under the front door panel (the sheet metal panel which covers the front of the door), remove he front cover and take a look there, manufacturer usually applies schematic via a decal on each unit to assist field service technicians. PLEASE NOTE>>>>> DISCONNECT / SHUT OFF POWER TO UNIT PRIOR TO SERVICING!!!!! (Turn OFF Circuit Breaker) Hope this Helps You find it! GOOD LUCK!

Adg 3962 IX showing fault code f2 with flashing

The machine has a switch inside that activates when a set amount of water is loaded.
If this switch then breaks (switches off) during the wash the machine assumes that the water has leaked out.
Run it through a couple of washes, check for a leak and see how it goes.
Hopefully it will be fine.
F2 indicates a flooded base.

Press and hold the start button until the start light goes out. (This resets the appliance)
Select a new programme and try the machine again.

If it comes up with a fault F2, take the panel off below the door and check for water in the base.
Be careful when you take the panel off, the exposed edges are razor sharp.
Drain any water in the base, reset and try the machine again and watch for a leak through the inspection panel.
