Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
I was listening to a podcast on my way to work. all of a sudden the phone went to the black screen of death with the apple and never turned on again. i was told by a mac genius that there's nothing they can do about it since i did not buy a warrantee. but any phone should last longer than the 1.5 years that I have owned this phone. it's still an amazing phone but has a horrible return policy. the warrantee wasn't even offered when i first purchased this phone till months after. apple this is karmic debt you are accruing. it's totally on you guys....
If you connect to iTunes, press and hold the home and power keys for about 15 secs. release the power button and continue to hold the home key until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode. This is called DFU mode. This will allow you to restore the firmware. email me with any errors or problems.
