I need to transport a front loading washing machine a 3 miles distance. I know that front loaders require a stabilization kit, but given the short distance, is it really necessary?

with the machine unpluged and freestanding from the wall.at the back of the top panel you will find two screws remove and slide the top off,you see a large cement block get an old duvou/heavy blanket and wrap it inside over the block and top of machine, keeping the drum and block as tight as possiable.dont forget to remove after moving.adrianxxx

Whirlpool 8100 series Top loader;the centre piece will not operate. so it will not turn or spin. everything else seams ok. It seams like the centre section is somehow disconnected?

hello it sounds like the agitator dogs are bad part # 80040 pop thecenter cap off there is a center bolt holding it down the dogs are inside the agitator these should fix your problem if its the top half not moving. if the bottom isnt moving look at the under side of it when you take it oss see if it is damaged. if its not damaged and the bottom half dont move on agitate it could be the trans. please dont forget to rate my answer thank you.

I purchased a front loader kenmore washing machine and it moves when it spins.

Hello. Chances are that it is not level. Use a carpenters level and check it front to back and side to side. Your owner manual will tell you exactly how to do this. J.

Kenmore 80's series top loader only works on wash and rinse cycle

This is a problem with the pump being stuck so the motor cant turn the whole thing. Turn the washer on its side, underneath you can acces the pump, which is connected to the motor by two long clips. remove the pump and take out the colg that caused it to get stuck.

Kenmore washer quit working

it may be waiting for a faulty heater to kick in. try it on a cold water wash, no heat and see if it continues the full wash. if it does not then it may have a faulty timer.
