I used to have the same issue. Get a mini-sd card and put it in the slot. It will reboot it.

Files coming up Invalid, and it shuts down when I go to delete, and only about half the songs are showing up on the mp3 player but can be played when attached the computer.

it shuts down may be because of virus you may scan it and cure it and some songs may be of any other file format which don't work in ur device so you may change the format ! ! !!

Half of song list not recognized by Sansa e260

i will surely help you. you have mentioned that you can see all the songs when your mp3 player is connected to the computer. so what you can do is, you can very well go ahead & format all the songs in your mp3 player using your computer. then you transfer a few songs to your mp3 player(the songs which were not getting recognized in your mp3 player). this should solve your problem.

Zen V Plus locked up, will not shut off

After 3 1/2 hours, the battery went dead. I waited a couple of minutes, then plugged it into my computer to see if the battery would charge. It started charging. A few hours later I went back to check on it, and it showed a full battery. I disconnected it from my computer, and turned it on. It came on, but the screen just said "Low Battery". I then plugged it back into my computer, and the screen said "Rebuilding Library". I left it for about a 1/2 hour, and it was done. I unplugged it from my computer, turned it on, and it works now!! Hope this helps out everyone else who has the same problem.

Make sure your connecting cable is working ok. The sansa should say connecting when plugged in. If it doesn't say that try wiggling the cord. Make sure it's plugged into the sansa all the way.

umm, try taking the battery out then placing it back in. if that doesn't work try putting it on the computer like you were going to sync song's to it.

Creative Labs ZEN SLEEK (20 GB) MP3 Player

If the unit works when plugged in but won't charge, you probably need to replace the battery. An original manufacturer one will cost about 40 dolars and a compatible 3rd party one will cost about half that.

Only half of my music shows on a computer while the other half shows on another.

install winamp on your friends computer and see if they show up.

Are you saying the songs don't show up on the actual device on when you connect it to the computer?

My Harley MP3 player.

It has already been said that the Harley Road Tech MP3 player will not read song from a folder, I was having no problem with it reading up to a 512 mb disk, however it would not read 1gb or 2gb disk because for some strange reason the songs were put on the disk as a folder, so I figured this out, rip your soundtracks to the mp3 format using the windows media player program, then sychronize them to the disk, no click on start on your computer, then my computer, then with the disk plugged into the usb port you will see that icon, storage device F , dbl click on that and it will open a window and show a folder, dbl click on that anf it will open all the soundtracks, now go to edit in your task bar and then to select all, this will highlight all soundtracks, now go to file and then send to and send those soundtracks to the F storage device, after you do that then delete the folder at the top and your MP3 player will now play the songs
