Good day everyone, what is the cause of pc that suddenly shuts down without any warning, after a few minutes i turn it on again same thing happen,i noticed two bad caps get puffy and i changed it,but it

This is hard to find out without having the hardware at a hand. For example, even though you dust it off, maybe the memory slots are still dirty, also is always a good idea to clean the memories edge with a pencil eraser. Another thing that could be causing this problem is that maybe your cooler fan is not working at the right speed, making the computer freeze or even shut down without notice. The same thing goes for the processor.
If you know a bit about computer, go into the BIOS and set everything to default, reboot. Good luck.

PC turns on and off like blinking

If you have another PC laying around that's got a power supply high enough to run the one you're having problems with, consider swapping them out.

Though it could be *********** board, it would be easier to swap PS's and see if the issue goes away. If not, it may be your MB.

First Hello. Before few days, when I turn on my PC(but I was unpluged my machine from electricity) and on monitor displays CMOS wrong set date/time,cpu frequensy.I hit BIOS set up sittings and Windows xp...

Replacing the bios battery was the correct thing to do. Answer me this. The Asus motherboard should have a green LED light lit (Standby power LED), when the system is turned off. Also keep the power cord for the power supply connected at all times. Though it is possible the replacment bios battery was all ready low on voltage or dead. When you're system is turned off the power supply continues to send 5volt DC to the motherboard which maintains the bios 3volt DC.
If the green LED is not lit than there is no power charging the bios battery and every time you boot the system the bios will have lost its settings. If the green LED is red in color, than the problem is within the standby switch built into the motherboard. The standby circuit can not be repaired. Double check all power connectors from the power supply to the motherboard. If everything has a good connection and you're bios settings continue to reset you should consider replacing the motherboard. At this point you have nothing to loose. Install the latest bios update,
(Beta Version 1010.005). 2006/02/14 update.

Good luck!

Mother board Gigabyte transistor D0139 broken

This worry's me a little I have some ?'s that i need answered first before you started your cleaning did you ground your self and wait the 10 to 20 min time after you shut-off and unplug the computer before removing anything from the computer. If you did then before turning it back on did you make sure you replace everything in it right place. Sound to me like ram my have not been in all the way.

But it all comes down to one thing you need a new motherboard they really normaly don't make replacement parts for them and in the long run you don't know what else could be toasted. Most likely the bios chip went too.

Replaced RAM; PC keeps shutting down?

2 suggestions:

1. Make sure the CPU cooler is on properly.
2. Check your power levels. I had a computer which did this. Turned out to be the PSU which eventually died. A different PSU has had the board going for 5 days now, instead of 1 day or just a few minutes.

Turns on, then shuts down before anything shows on monitor

So its a Foxconn Mb. Few things I can suggest. I do hope you installed the cpu before installing the motherboard & didn't forget to add thermal grease between the cpu & heatsink. One might say that you might have a short between the Mb and the case! Same problem two boards.... Did you connect the 4-pin ATX12V cable into the board which is loacted to the left of the cpu & up close to the edge of the Mb. Goto this link and follow the testing of the board.:

Suddent Freeze....

Q: when the "system suddenly Freeze"...was the display working then? If not, then re-seat the video card. Also, re-seat the memory modules into their connectors.
