There should be an input button on either your remote or TV.

It isn't a channel, you will need to switch the video mode from cable TV to auxiliary inputs (i.e. VCR, DVD player, games, etc). The process for doing this varies from TV to TV but generally the remote will have a button that says 'Input' or 'Video' and that will switch it.

When i turn on my ps2(slim) i cant see or hear eny on the TV way is the happing plz help me

Check your A/V cable connections. They are the Yellow (Video), White (Left audio), and Red (Right audio)wires coming from the back of your PS2 to the connectors on your TV. Be sure they are plugged in and they have a tight connection. Also, be sure they are plugged into the appropriate jacks. They jacks are usually color-coded to match the connector type. Then check to make sure the plug that connects to the back of your console is in the correct port and is snug as well. A loose connection anywhere will prevent anything from coming up, the PS2 was infamous for that.

Aside from issues with A/V, be sure your TV is on and tuned to the correct source. If your PS2 plugs into an RF switch which plugs into the coaxial (cable) port on the back of your TV, the channel should match what the RF adapter is set to before turning on the console. If the PS2 is plugged into your TV through the A/V cables (The yellow, white, and red connectors we discussed earlier), make sure your TV is set to the proper source. The source channels could either be labeled "Video 1," "Video 2," or "Video 3," depending on your configuration. Also, the source could also be labeled "Game."

If none of the two solutions above work, then it appears your PS2 has bitten the dust. Best thing to do is give it a nice tombstone with a beautiful eulogy to make even the most battle-hardened tough guys cry like a baby

When I turn on My Ps2 it shuts off like 1 second after I pressed the button to turn it on. It doesnt even start up . Or show up on the TV.

It might just be age and the system is dead. You can try and unplug it and pres and hold the power button for 30seconds. Than plug it back in and try turning it on.

Im playing FFX on a 720P TV but my Playstation 2 graphics look like im playing on an old tube tv. the picture is all fuzzy. I dont know how else to describe it.

I suggest messing with the plug on the PS2 in the back or possibly on the TV. Since PS2's are out of date they do not have the best graphics even on great tv's. Try putting it on a different tv thats newer and see if they get better or worse. If they get better try messing with the settings on your TV. If they are the same its possible they are at their full potential. Hope this helps.

How do I connect my Playstation 2 to a Phillips

First, you need to plug in the A/V cable (the cable with the red, yellow, and white tips) to the back of the Phillips TV. There should be color coordinated plugs to go with the cable. After that, plug the other end of the A/V cable to your PS2, and you are good to go with your audio and video.

No picture for playstation 2

Could possibly be that it is not connected up correctly, or your playstation has died. If you have access to another playstation, hook it up to your cables as they are hooked up. If the screen works. Your playstation has died.

If not, and you have the same issues, try their cables, and if that doesn't work. You have it plugged in incorrectly.

Ps2

The ps2 has a sound threshold, which it cannot surpass. Do you hear any volume at all? If you hear NO volume, verify that your audio visual cable is properly seated in both the TV and the console. If you hear some volume, and its just really quiet, try a different TV.

By an aerial do you mean a converter?
For the neew TV's you don't need one. Just plug it in using A/V cable (yellow is video, red and white are audio). Be sure you take note of which input you are plugging it into on the TV, and then use your TV's remote to change the video input (usually will be labeled video or TV/Video on the remote) to the one you plugged the PS2 into.
