I have a Motorola WR850G i am looking to open my nat type for my ps3 system i also have a DSL Verizon cable modem which i have open the nat type for that now I'm trying to figure out how to open my nat...

If your using a router, you have to ENABLE the UPnp within your router settings. Once enabled your NAT should be OPEN.
If you do not know how to get into your router, you will need to ask someone you trust to do this.

Modern Warfare 2 Open Up NAT

Have a look in the user control panel of the router.

It's probably at or

Admin username and password will be as default unless you changed them.

It's probably to do with your router firewall. Ensure that it's configured to allow traffic to and from your xbox.

My friends NAT type is stric how dose he change it to open? on his xbox on modern warfare 2?

check the router's manual here
what you want to do is forwarding those ports, you need to find out what ports the xbox use, and follow the instructions in page 133 -135.

good luck

How do i change my NAT from Strict to open on my Zyxel P-2602R-D1A ?? so i can start playing Call of Duty modern warfare 2 ?

you will need to change the some settings on the router.
reduce the MTU. If the MTU settings on the router is 1500 then change 1365.
Also you will need to open some ports on the router.
