NATing will not be the issue..
PORT: 28961 should be open for you to play call of duty 4:modern warfare.

How can i get nat type open i always have nat type strict. my Router is a thomson tg585v8

I believe certain routers are certain NAT types. If there is not an option to change NAT type on the web interface for your router, then it is what it is.

Hope that helps

Hello, i setup a IP cam. Create an account on for the IP. But now when i type the given url i am linked to the setup of my Thomson router TG585 v8 What can I do? There is nothing else except...

Hi Sten -- There are several non-intuitive things you have to setup with any router and Dyndns to make this work.

On Dyndns you can setup your static or hardly every changing dynamic Internet (external - provided by your ISP) IP address in your Dyndns account settings (Not the internal NAT IP - 192.168.x.x address of the cam). if it changes more often you need a dyndns client.

On the router you have to setup port forwarding to the internal (NAT address ex:192.168.x.x) address of the camera including the port number -- or you could just create a DMZ (feature of many but not all routers) for the internal IP of the cam.

If you've done the above correctly you might want to check the troubleshooting sections at located HERE and HERE.

Happy Networking and Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Trying to Open NAT type

To open the NAT type you first need to have the IP add of the device you want to open ports for. Once you have the IP add you have two options what you can do on your router.
1) Call the vendor of the device you want the NAT to be changed for and ask them to give you "Ports". Once you have the ports you can login to the router interface and open these ports which will in turn change the NAT settings. 2) If the above step doesn't work you can put the IP address (device) and put it in DMZ on the router. This will keep the router under the firewall of the router which has worked many number of times.
If the above two steps didn't work you could disable the firewall on the router.
Hope this helped.

I whant open in ps3

I take it that you want to change NAT type in your PS3. To open NAT type you first need to get port numbers from PS3 people. Once you get the ports check what the IP add on the PS3 is.Once you have this information login to the router interface and punch in the port numbers and the IP add and your NAT type should be open.

Hope this helped.
