Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
It will start out fine then as you go further along. The sound that it makes sounds like a cogged gears not meshing or something. Sometimes this will effect game play, sometimes it wont. Sound will sometime go out, sometimes it wont. Also it will make this sound when you first power up the unit and put a disk in the tray. Suggestions or ideas on what could be the problem?
Just a guess, but i think the PS2 has some plastic gears inside that could become stripped. Check this link: http://store.richspsxparts.com/melagecreplg.html
