Hi sharilyn a20...
You will have to buy and install a new bucket for your humidifier..
You may get by with trying to seal the crack with a good grade of silicone sealant.
Please take time to rate me
Hi, check to make sure the drain hole connection on the Dehumidifer's reservoir, that you have the hose hooked to, isn't plugged.
Also, you might want to see if the hose connection on the reservoir,
still has the "knock out plug" still in place. Look at the hose
connection on the reservoir, and if you can't see through it, or put a
screwdriver through it, you need to punch it out the middle with a
screwdriver. Open up the hole as much as you can so it will drain into
and through your hose.
Check your hose also, as it might be plugged, disconnect it and blow through one end to make sure the water can flow through it.
Those are the only three things that could be preventing it from
draining out the reservoir, through the hose connection, and through
the hose to your drain
The 121 should only have the main filter ring taken out before the reservoir tank is put in which easily just falls into the main dust tank area. Make sure though that the bin's square edge is at the front where it rests at the front of the Vax where the hose comes out. Then unhook the pump to lay it in the water tank and the motor should be able to jam ontop clipping both sides down to lock. Perhaps you are putting the reservoir bucket in the wrong way.
Put the rubber seal on the bucket first, then put the spring on the valve stem, slip into the hard collar, then push it into the opening in the seal, it will snap into place.
