Question about Sanyo PLV 70 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Sanyo projector PLV-70 color lenses fell out when changing bulb.

The three colored lenses that are on the sides of the lamp fell out when I was changing the bulb, and I do not know where exactly they go back...as in which color goes where. There are three colors. One on each side and one on the back. Does anyone know where they go back, as when I put them back it has a red screen now.....

Remove the screws that have the -> symbol, carefully remove the top cover, then at the bottom right side, if your lense is pointing away from you, is a little switch, that you push down, its circular.
Push that down, and then put everything back, and it should power up

reset the lamp timer. if the fans won't start up either, you may have a power supply issue.

overheating. clean out the projector with canned air. dust keeps in the heat. should be done periodically. about every 500 hours or so, depending on usage and environment. if it happens often after that, replace the thermosensor and check the fans.

Sanyo PLV-Z3 Multimedia Projector problem

This could be due to one of the three filters that are easy to change - download the free pdf service manual - not the user manual - it is very descriptive and the filter is about $120 from Sanyo.
