How do I recover a forgotten password for an overdrivepro63E wireless internet stick

Wireless networking is a common feature in homes and offices.
Wireless routers provide access to a single Internet source, and wireless passwords ensure that only select users can access the network.
If a password is forgotten or lost, the password can be recovered or reset by accessing the router's Web-based settings menu.
Most wireless routers also have a reset button, which is capable of returning the router to its default settings which includes resetting the password.

Connect to your Wi-Fi or attach your computer directly to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Open your Web browser. Enter the default address of your router.
The default address is listed in your user manual or on the product website. Linksys and 3Com routers typically use "192.168.1.1" while Netgear routers use "192.168.0.1."
Enter your username and password.
Many routers use "admin" for the username and password by default.
Locate the wireless security settings.
Disable the wireless security.
Reset to Factory Defaults
Locate the reset button on your router.
Typically the reset button is a small indented hole on the back of the device.
Insert a long thin object such as a paperclip and hold down the reset button for 30 seconds to revert the router to its factory default settings.
Locate the wireless security settings and add security as necessary.

After mcafee did a recent update my GE Centricity 6.1 no longer works

Hi flatwaterman
I hope you have the GE Centricity 6.1 install disc , because you may need to delete and reinstall the program . Look in the settings of McAfee to unblock the firewall that is preventing your software to run smoothly . If the problem persists , delete and reinstall your software . If it still doesn't work , change your anti virus .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .

Microsoft outlook won't send or receice email

i guess you are in a office domain while inside office, so you can just connect your network cable / wireless lan and send / Rcv mails....but once you ar at home you are out of the office network / domain.....
to send mails from home you need to check with your network admin guy how to do that, as you may have to get a login id and password for connecting to your official domain from a public network....
there are many things that need to be done for that....
1 you need to get into the domain of your org.
2 your PC / email setting needs to be given the correct DNS address, IP address, mail box address etc....
Pls check with your email admin guy and get it fixed.

Wireless network security

well truth is you dont need to do that, every todays antivirus/firewall and specially microsoft software "VISTA" will tell you that many things are not secure. You just keep in mind that every enterprise has to advice you just to avoid you to sue them if you have problems, I mean: if you get hacked or a virus or anything gets into your system and cause you a problem nobody will do a thing but if it happens to a big enterprise, like a bank or some like that, they could blaim the soft about it and thats why the are just "warning" you. The other truth is that if you dont know about security you cant do a damn thing to secure your computer, specially if you are using windows, which is not secure at all. Once you get into the net with microsoft software, you are on your own. So here is the BEST thing to do in your case. Get rid of any antivirus, firewalls, specially windows firewall, antispam or antispy sofware in your computer, then BUY Kaspersky`s last version, INTERNET SECURITY preferred, its cheaper than cheap, like less than 40 dollars a year, install and upgrade that soft as it tell you and youre done! You dont need nothing else than your Windows, Kaspersky and being carefull of what you are going to download. Even better if you can take your PC to a technician and ask hime/her to partition your HD and install the OS in the first partitions and lets a partition JUST AND ONLY for your personal data, so your data wont be the primary target of viruses.

Sory, I do not want to disrespect you, but if you ask a question like this one, better to do that I told you than trying to configure other stuff... because you would loose a lot of time and win nothing. A lot of knowledge is required to really secure a system... thats why they make soft like kaspersky, the best way for a standard/normal user to have things "under control".

My warning is that windows firewall will send a message almost with every new thing, so you just do what you need to do, forget about those warnings and a second thing is that karpersky could also tell you, (once you try connect a new internet service, lan, router, etc) that that connection is not secure or warnings like that, in kaspersky case you will need to choose TRUSTED NETWORK or ALLOW, when it prompts you to choose if you want to connect to that net or not, otherwise kaspersky will block your connections and you wont be able to navigate or chat.

Hope to be usefull for you, this is the best way I know for standard users. G luck sincerely
