Different makes have different coloured dots but mainly blue dot is low temp and red is high.
The high temp will be to the left as you look at them.
Hope this helps & thanks for using Fixya.

Does the black single wire go onthe right pole with th dot?

Hi Holly:
The black wire would typically be the supply or "hot".
Putting this through a switch will result in power coming out of the switch, and would still be connected to a black wire which would go to the fixture.
The dot on the switch really does not serve a function that I am aware of.
NEVER connect a neutral (white) wire to a black through a switch as you will create a short circuit.
Hope this helps.

My 02 buick century keeps popping the cooling fan fuse and my fans dont turn on is it my pcm ??

I just replaced a set of cooling fan motors for this problem, and the connectors on the motors were even melted, had to replace connector pigtails as well, th fans also cools the a/c condenser so if the fans quit then your a/c will not be very cool unless your driving and the air flow will aid like a fan would..

Overheating cant feel water passing through upper hose on radiator

Wait for th engine to cool off then remove th radiator cap and let the engine run until it shows signs of getting hot. If you can't see the coolant flowing in the radiator then the thermostat is not opening or there is no coolant in the radiator. Make sure the radiator is full. If that doesn't help then replace the thermostat.

Th unit is turning off on its' own. It smells

Please check your thermostat, it could be defective and
needs to be replaced. It is overheating at the moment,
and may bogged down anytime. That is why it is unusually hot. Please check the thermostat, before your
unit gets damage. Hope this will help you.

Need schematics for honeywell s861ou3009

Those terminals are the power to the module. The tr should be the 24v (hot) line coming from the transformer. The tr/th is the common from the transformer and the th is the 24v line coming back from the t-stat. So tr stands for transformer. the th stands for thermostat. And the th/tr is the common.
I know you ask for schematics but I felt that I could easily explain it to you. It really isn't all that hard. In some cases the tr does not need to be hookup. if you only have two wires there than just hookup the th/tr and the th and it will work.

I'have a equator washer n dryer///ez3710v// have a wiring problem at the thermostat i have a block with two red dot an two with black dot, dont know which wire going where suppost to go on that thermostat...

if you are still waiting for a solution on this here it is:
Each and every wire in this unit are labelled and so if you can see the labels on the four wires they would be labelled as FD, FDX, FE & FEX, FD & FDX should be connected to the two black dots and FE & FEX should be connected to the two red dots.
