Have you solved this problem? I met the same problem. A clean CD doesn't work because I can't insert any CD.

Simply run a laser head cleaner CD it seems that the laser head is dirty & therefore unable to read the CD

If the CD itself is not insertable then it looks like there is something blocking it as if there is already a CD is inside or PERHAPS A BROKEN PART OF AN EARLIER CD still remaining inside. Check if have a partly broken CD in your collection. If so then it has to be removed. If you steady good hands then try looking in and try to remove it with a pair of forceps, however if this is not the case, then I am afraid it has to taken out for inspection. Check the belt/platic gear which is respible for popping out the CD has broken or have very loose & worn out gear tooth. The motot which turns thhe CD should be unaffected b'cos it is still rotating. The other part which you ought to check is the laser head is bery dirty or damaged so it keeps on trying to read te disc & finds nothing. I would rather make sure if the laser head being really clean and then look for something jammed sice the CD itself is being blocked with some object. Personally speaking I would first check for blockage, then check the belt/gear tooth's & finally the laser head cleaniness.

When i insert a CD, it won't accept it, "disc error" appears. What is the solutions.

hello there soenensistva
Well first of all Compact discs are easy to be read by a DVD player then ordinary Cd player cause of their lens are made for more compressed Data discs..there for try some of the options

1. make sure that the disc Surface is Clean and don't have finger prints or any other material that is disturbing the the read process between the CD and lens present inside CD player

2.if your CD is precious for you ( that consist some important Data you may need ) then try a DVD player for that

3.if both things doesn't work try a cleaning Cd for Cleaning the Head of CD player .

i wish that your problem may be solved

How to fix the ERR1 in Toyota Yaris CD Player

Error #1 means unreadable disc.

This condition appears a few reasons:
- Burned disc. These players don't always like burned CD's. Try burning your discs slower (like 8x instead of 40x, yes this makes a difference) or using higher quality CD-R's. Made in Japan discs are the best (Taiyo Yuden). Yes this also makes a difference.
- Dirty or scratched disc.
- Dirty Laser. I've had really good luck with those CD cleaners. It is a CD with some small brushes on the bottom. Worth a shot.
- Deck is plain junk.

Additionally, in this lnk could find other details about fix-error-1-cd-player.html

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer ans send us your comments).

When i try cd it keeps writing error.and reject every cd plates i insert.it was playing normal 2days ago.pls what do i do when error notice appear.the car is honda 2003 model coupe.thanx

Unfortunately 90% of the time when you get error codes from the CD player/changer it means that there is a mechanical failure in the CD player/changer unit itself and it usually requires CD player/changer rebuild or replacement...
First make sure you have entered the correct anti-theft code. If battery power has been disconnected recently than the stereo display will read CODE if the incorrect anti-theft code is entered the display will read ERR1 thru ERR3. If this is the case you'll have to get the correct anti-theft code. Note; If you enter the incorrect code three times the stereo locks up. Disconnect the battery for more than 30 seconds and then retry.
FYI;Never use adhesive labels or protective disc covers on recordable CD's. Recordable CD's are actually thicker than pre-recorded CD's. Automotive players and changers use rollers to draw the disc into the unit. The added thickness of an adhesive label or protective disc cover may cause the disc to jam. Also CD players and changers are exposed to high temperatures inside the vehicle. High temp will cause the labels adhesive to soften which may cause the labels edges to curl or cause it to bubble. Either one may cause the disc to jam. If the player can not be disassembled and have the discs removed successfully than it will have to be replaced. -hope this helps.

Xplod cd player reads Err 99 and wont accept cd

I had the same problem.
i fix it by taking out the cd player and pulling the outer case off. when i looked inside and the (in technical terms) metal bracket that holds the white plastic disc (that i guess holds the cds) inside the cd player was bent down. i am assuming that cds were hitting this when i tried to insert them! i just bent it back up using a knife from the outside. i bent it up until the white disc looked level.
good luck

Error Code Displayed When CD Inserted

Error 01 is normally on most machines to say it cannot read the discs. Could be dirty laser or a defective one. Must open to make better diagnosis.

JBL Error 1

Error one is unique to the disc being inserted into the player.
According to the service manual, this is the exact statement:

Err 1 appears on the display:
This indicates that the disc is dirty, scratched, damaged, incorrect (as in a "burnt" disc), or has been inserted upside down. Clean the disc or insert it correctly.

Toyota CD players are very sesnitive, and the svc manual specifically mentions not to use anything other than "store-bought" CDs.
