Processing Board Anyone no where i can purchase a processing board for a rca tv model number HD56W66 i am seeing picture but there is no sound coming from the television itself..can anyone help

Check the fuse. Its located on the right side looking in the rear of the TV its the small board where the power cord plugs into. The fuse is on that board.

3 capacitors on your deflection board it will be bottom board on left hand sise of TV cp 150 2200uf 16v use 25v if it is puffed up on top it is Bad other 2 are cp114 cp120 220uf 35v in same circuit. For capacitors Call Mats 1-800-628-1118

Either one of two problems, the main power supply has an issue or has gone bad. 'Not supplying the correct voltages to your processing/controlling board' or that you are having problems with your processing/controlling board. My guess is the main power supply board.
A Good TV Service Shop would give you an idea of what the cost of repair should be. Call around.

First ck capacitors cp150 cp114 cp120 2200uf 16v and 220uf 35v if 150 is puffed up on top replace all 3 capacitors also ck Ribbon connectors there is 2 of them thst conect deflection board to SSB board. resolder all pinns on FBT flyback transfomer.

This is a problem with the main board. This board does the signal processing and sound audio processing. The problem may just be some over expanded solder connections that have lost the ability to stay in contact with the board. It could also be a problem with some component failure. If this unit is still under warranty call the Insignia customer support at this telephone number 1-877-467-4289. Give them the model number of you television and they will tell you how to get service for it. The Insignia customer support website is www.insignia-products.com. Go to the customer support and ask them for help with your model of television.I hope this information helps you with your problem.

this sometimes is quite simple to fix as it cud be a dry joint on the circuit board where the tube motor sits.


or it cud be the tube is on its way out, which wud be cheaper to buy a new tv rather than have it fixed

Black Screen come from three areas. 1- Power Supply Board 2- Inverter Board 3- Processing Board on the LCD. Since the Power Supply Board was replace, it easy to troubleshoot where the problem. lies If you cannot get the backlight, then its the inverter board. If you can use a flash light on the TV screen and can barely see the images, then the problem is indeed the inverter board. If you cannot see any images when using a flash light, then the problem comes from the LCD processing board. Let me know if you have any success. Mike

Replace the main board, off and on command comes from that board along with all signal processing.

Without knowing the model of the TV or if it is a Plasma or LCD product the best choice to start would be the board that handles the main video and audio processing. This is usually called the main or digital board.

you need a new convergence power supply or the actual convergence amp board. Go to this link and they will be able to help you with the problem . Just leave your model number and problem your having in an email to them.
