Mp3 not showing up on Windows Media player 11

Download the latest version of the Philips Deivce Manager from Philips website and use the Update option on the new version. This player requires a firmware upgrade to make it compatible with Windows Media Player 11, and the Update function in the Philips Device Manager will perform this for you.

My GoGear won't synchronize with Windows Media Player 11

You have to update the firmware on that particular player to make it compatible with Windows Media Player 11. Grab the latest version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips website, install it, open it, and click the "Update" button. It will erase all your songs in the process, but then your player will be fixed, and you can move on.
