Fan control printed circuit board

Printed Circuit Boards are the 'brain' of the boiler. They control every action and can be found in most appliances from boilers to warm air units and fires. They are often referred to as a PCB, control box, mother board, driver board, sequence board, ignition board or power board. For more info you can visit at http://dferrantielectronics.co.uk/

Ariston FB 97 c error 08

hello,

This error code on a Kitchen Aid range (oven) indicates a keypad short on the Electronic Range Control (ERC) board. This is the clock/timer on the operator console. The recommended fix is to replace the ERC. You can generally find replacement parts at these websites:

searspartsdirect.comappliancepartspros.com repairclinic.com

All these sites offer great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare.

Replacing an ERC is not a difficult repair and can be accomplished by the average do-it-yourself offer. If you decide to order the part and wish to repair this on your own, follow these steps:

1. UNPLUG the range. Dangerous voltage is still present inside even with the range turned off.

2. Pull the range away from the wall and turn the unit around so you can access the rear panel.

3. Remove the screws on the back of the operator console.

4. Carefully disconnect the connector plugs to the ERC. Take note of how they are connected, so that you can reinstall them correctly.

NOTE: The connectors are usually color coded with the colors printed on the circuit board. However, if the colors are not printed on the board, write them down. (A digital camera also comes in real handy for this).

5. With the connectors removed, remove the mounting screws to the ERC and the assembly will come out.

NOTE: Most replacement ERC boards do not come with the overlay. This is the plastic pre-printed number display. The overlay can easily be peeled off and re-used. Just make sure you properly orient the overlay so that you don't inadvertently place it on the new board upside down. If your existing overlay is damaged, you will need to order separately.

6. Install new ERC using the steps provided in reverse order. Minimize handling the new circuit board with your bare hands to avoid damaging the board.

Oven keeps losing electronic signal. Get error message E6 F2, then lose all visual digital readout and oven will not heat up.

My Stoves 720EF oven blows the trip when cooling fan stops

The fan timer printed circuit board controls the cooling fan and there is also a resistor on the terminal block of the cooling fan. One or both of these could be suspect. If the fan still runs, then the resistor hasn't gone open circuit and is still providing continuity. The only way to prove out the circuit board would be to change it, but that could be expensive especially if it doesn't cure the problem.

Cooling fan does not come on at all...

Hi ,I posted this problem as well (ROYP75) I fixed the problem by replacing the printed circuit board(this amongst other things controls the fan speed). If you can remove and replace self tapping screws and replace wires like for like on the circuit board you can do this.Isolate from gas and electric, remove oven back taking care with fan wires, wires connected to circuit board and fan connected to oven back once removed you will see circuit board and from their it's just a case of swapping parts .circuit board was purchased from espares .co.uk part no es660722 hope you find this helpful

The electronic control board will have to be replaced. You can search online or call Sears (they can order just about any type of part for any type of product for you) with a model and serial number. Generally, the electronic control board is not that difficult to replace.
