Question about Xerox Phaser 8550DX Laser Printer
That is a fault in the start up procedure of the printer. Xerox calls it of all things PEST. Most of the time, it is a failure of the electronics module.
That is both difficult and expensive to replace. I am estimating for a new one, in the $1000 range from Xerox. A third party may be able to fix it for less, but that module is almost the entire electronics of the machine.
Wish I had an easier answer for you.
