My picture has been pixelated

Probably a bad display driver ( download the latest driver for video chip from the website)
Or might be the resolution is set too low ( right click on desktop / personalise / display settings and change) For XP, its changeable in the control panel / display box.

Test the laptop by connecting it to an external monitor, see if you get the same problem (if you do, see below re: graphics chip, if not, see below re: screen

After that, this could be faulty hardware, overheating graphics chips will cause the display to do this, best solution here, dismantle and clean the heatsink and fan, remove any dust build up.

If that still fails to work, the chip may be damaged beyond repair (new motherboard / graphics board depending on the laptop you have), Or, the screen itself may be failing (replace screen)

Hello, i have Intel motherboard D101GGC. My sound card is not working. the motherboard has inbuilt sound chip. but it does not seem to accept any drivers.. or detect any drivers compatible with it. I...

Try another (known to work) soud spreakers. (Still no sound)?
Enter the bios/cmos menu & check audio setting.
Make sure the audio setting is set to AC97 or Auto. Save and exit the bios. After restart check for sound. If your using front panel audio instead of the rear audio jacks. See pages 37 & 38 in your manual for proper setup.
For rear MB sound out put only. See page 38 in manual.
Check for audio.
If rear and or front audio fails to function the the audio chip is defective.

No sound in IBM 1860 laptop

Windows may have trashed the driver for your sound or the audio chip has died.
Check the Device Manager listing to see if your audio is 'Xed."
Download free Belarc Advisor, it only needs some version of IE 4.0 or later for displaying the output and it will give you a detailed description of your hard- and software so you can see whose chip it is in case you need to download a replacement driver.

Intel has several variations on their chip sets. Look at the chips on the board and download individually the network and sound drivers. Probably Realtek audio and Intel Gigabit. Once online, run windows update and then let Windows match the drivers for the rest.

Hello friend,
You are not being specific enough. The chip you posted refers to the chips that controls the storage drivers.

You need to be specific to the vga driver.

Audio on motherboard not working.

If the southbridge chipset is intact and operational, either physically open the case and see if you can visually see the chip set #,

or my favorite, download and run everesthome,
click on + by motherboard
click on chipset
click on southbridge in right column,
google the chip set drivers or the audio control set drivers
or click on the "ask me " under my id .and give me the #'s I'll link you to the updated drivers.
