Music play list has no subdirectories

My phone is going great, I put a 4 GB card in it to add more music. I've about 150 songs on the phone. When you go to ALL Music it listed all the songs together with no subdirectories, so you've got to scroll down to get what you want. Is there anyway I can set up to have each CD in a sub directory?. The 4Gb card shows the song in Subdirectories but the phone dos'nt

Problem playing music on Sciphone i68+

When you put the music on, did you drag an entire folder or just a single song. If you drag an entire folder then it will just go to the documents. I you want to listen to the song in the audio player, than you need to individually drag the song onto the E drive

Cant play the music

Add music to I9

Connect your i9 to your PC via the USB cable.
On the phone select "Mass Storage Device".

On the PC you will see 2 new drives appear.
One will be the SD card. The other is the Phones internal memory.

Now just simply copy your MP3 files to the Memory card folder "My Music".
Do not use the phones internal memory as it just is not big enough.

The Audio player will only play music from a folder called "My Music" or "MP3"
depending on which firmware version you have on your i9. If one doesn't work try naming it the other!
Also make sure you are selecting the right storage area in the Audio player options, either the phone
or the memory card, because there can be identical music folders on both, and if you don't choose the
correct storage location, your music files still won't show in the Audio player!
Make sure the audio file is in a format the i9 can play. Known music file types are mp3, wav, amr, m4a, & mp4.
DO NOT place music in sub folders within either of the My Music or MP3 main folders, the Audio player
will not find them unless the music files are directly within the proper My Music or MP3 folders!

Every time you add new music to your i9 you will need to refresh the List in order for the audio
player to see all the newly added songs. To do this open the player. Tap "List" at the bottom of
the screen. Tap "Options". Tap "Refresh list". You can also go into the audio player settings &
turn ON the "List auto gen." option. If the option is ON, then after you add new music, the new
music should be added to the entire list of music already showing. If you have problems with the
music list showing up empty, or new music you have just added not showing up in the current list
of songs, then try turning OFF the List auto gen option and refresh the list manually again by using
the Refresh list option as described earlier. Manually refreshing the music list must be done every
time you add new music files to the phone if the List auto gen option is OFF.

You get to the List auto gen option by two ways with the Audio player open and onscreen
for most i9 firmware (some firmware might not have it, or may be in another area);

1.) Tap the little wrench icon to the far right on the black option panel,
then scroll down to the List auto gen. option!

2.) Tap the List option at the bottom of the screen, tap the Options button
at the bottom of the
screen, tap the Settings button, scroll down to List auto gen.

Downloading to a zte c79

i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

Samsung t629 memord card problem. PLEASE HELP!

ok, I have managed to use my sandisk 512mb card to put on music...even though I didnt know you had to format the disk in phone first (I dont recommend because all my music is individual clips and not in my music file), however once you see that the music is on the card via "my files" I went to the music player and hit options...then hit "add music from" then hit "memory card" you must put a check mark by all the music files you want to add to the music player (or choose "all" and hit ok) This will put your chosen songs off your card into the music player and you can see the song title at the top of your player screen and use the arrows to move through your songs/clips. Choose the song and hit play.
