My phone is going great,
I put a 4 GB card in it to add more music.
I've about 150 songs on the phone.
When you go to ALL Music it listed all the songs together with no subdirectories, so you've got to scroll down to get what you want.
Is there anyway I can set up to have each CD in a sub directory?.
The 4Gb card shows the song in Subdirectories but the phone dos'nt

put ur card in a jacket and put it in a card reader and connect itto pc. add ur songs. out it back into phone and open music player.. update ur music library and play the songs. or connect VIA DATA CABLE and add the songs
1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.
i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!
The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
ok, I have managed to use my sandisk 512mb card to put on music...even though I didnt know you had to format the disk in phone first (I dont recommend because all my music is individual clips and not in my music file), however once you see that the music is on the card via "my files" I went to the music player and hit options...then hit "add music from" then hit "memory card"...now you must put a check mark by all the music files you want to add to the music player (or choose "all" and hit ok) This will put your chosen songs off your card into the music player and you can see the song title at the top of your player screen and use the arrows to move through your songs/clips. Choose the song and hit play.
