Use the reset button on the back of the router. Hold the button down until the router resets and then re setup the router. You may need to unplug the router from the LAN and wall. Hold the reset button down and plug the power cord back in. Continue holding the reset button and let go after a few seconds. Plug the internet cord back in and re setup.
by default "admin" is the user name and the password is blank. If this does not work, try admin as the user name and password as the password. if the same thing, it can mean that another password and user name has been set up. You may have to reset the router to its factory settings, usually, there is a small hole or button that you can press to reset to factory settings.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank or "1234" Then you can see configuration page of router.
If you are still not able to access then press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults then you can access it with above ip and user name and password.
Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
Log in to your router's web administration application by entering 'admin' as 'User name', and leaving the 'Password' field empty.
Hope it works for you.
By the way, if your router's user manual happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Best regards,
Carlos
there is no way to get for get password but u can restore at factory setting then u have re configer your router see the image i have show u in read mark this is reset button put the pan needle press 2 min your router will be reset on factory setting then the default user name and password is router admin admin
hello: you have to reset the router by pressing small hole with balpoint for a few sec. connect router with a network cable and then you have to go to your browser and type the ip adres 192.168.1.1 a paswoord request sreen wil appear leave the user name blank and enter the default paswoord ADMIN in lowercase letters, for addind security you sould later set a new paswoord using the administraion tools management screen of the web based utility then click on ok button and cofigure your router with your stuff
First press RESET button it is in back side of router press it for 10 seconds so all settings are defaults.
Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then access it with following link. http://192.168.1.1
or http://192.168.0.1
type user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Resetting the router would clear the username and password. The you can go to 192.168.0.1 in your browser and set a new username and password. D-Link Router reset Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit. Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button. Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds. Step 4 Release the Reset button. Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting. Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults. Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure. The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank. When it says hold for about 10 seconds, don't hold for more than ten seconds or the procedure will likely fail, if ten seconds doesn't work try 5 seconds. The user manual is on this link: http://www.scribd.com/doc/2091490/DI624-manual If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
hey buddy u need to press the reset button only for 3-5 sec( it look like a hole u have to use a pin to reset it. it is located at the bottom of the modem.) don't press the button more then that otherwise it won't get reset. once it get reset go back to the modem page this try admin as user name & leave the password blank. if case if it doesn't work with that try admin as user name & admin password or admin as user name & password as password.
