No background music in games such is Battlefield 2, COD2

My problem is that speakers work fine but in some games(BF2, Call of Duty 2,...) they dont play any background music just usual sounds when you click button; also when i play i dont hear my own gun's fire but i'm able to hear reloading sound(insertion of full magazine, ejection of cartiges)and all other voices and sounds. i have adjusted settings in Windows XP to 5.1 and also in creative software i have Audigy 2 ZS, Intel celeron 2.6GHz, 1GB ddr, intel bayfield mobo

I would check what sound settings your individual games are running at. Sometimes when you have the sound set to something your speakers don't fully support (DTS, Dolby Digital, etc.) you'll get some sound and not others. This also happens when you try to push sound to a different number of speakers then you have (5.1 sound to 2.1 speakers, etc.)

Basically, I've noticed a fairly faint static noise while listening to music at about 30%-40& with the Logitech z-2300's. I dont know if the problem persists when the speakers are any higher because I...

Most speakers I have owned or listened too have a faint buzz or static to them. If you are using a computer turn up the volume on the computer all the way and then you should not have to turn the volume knob on your speakers past 20% that's what i did with mine and they sound fine. If you are using something else like an i pod or something like that make sure you turn the volume on the device all the way up to ensure you don't have to turn the speakers up that high. If that's not your problem then i don't know.

Intermittent problems are always the hardest to diagnose but I would start by going to the device manager and deleting the sound drivers. Then a reboot and as your machine restarts it will reinstall the soundcard drivers and if the game has corrupted the drivers that should your your problem. Should it continue you will need to find updated drivers for Windows 7.

When i play a game such as Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the Xbox 360. The sound works, like you can hear the water flowing, aircraft etc etc, all that is is fine. But when it comes to audio of different ...

Most of the sounds you are hearing good are background sounds. If you are running a surround system, you might want to try adjusting the output of your primary speakers, checking for the correct setting on your receiver, and verifying that your central audio is in the correct section ( receiver output ).

If you are not using surround sound,
Check the in-game menu (Pause) for an audio section, some games allow you to turn the character voices up and the music down. If you don't have that option, try using a new output cord from your xbox to Tv.

Static humming from speakers

I've had the same problem and I think I've solved the problem. I noticed that they were fine when I first turned them on. After a awhile the blue light would flicker and static would start. I figured there might be some connection so I unplugged my speakers, took off the thin rubber from bottom and removed the 3 small screws. I carefully pulled the circuit board down, spotted the led light and snipped it off. I put everything back together, double stick taped the rubber piece back on, plugged it back in and have been listening static free for hours. Yippee, no more room full of screaming babies (that's what static sounds like to me)! By the way, I'm no expert. I just have a very strong aversion to static.
Good luck,

First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
Good Luck
