Yes topek is a brand name for small pumps that clip onto the bicycle frame. But there are alot of less expensive similar pumps such as schwinn. You can find inexpensive pumps at target and walmart. Just check if you have a schrader or presta valve and if the pump has that fitting..

I reckon the best pump around today is the Topeak Road Morph. This is a minature track pump with foot pedal and hose with pressure gauge built in to connector. If you have road tyres this pump has to be top of your list.

Where can I find the plastic adapters for an unidentified bicycle pump?

you might try your local bike shop, but it's a good chance they won't stock anything of that quality level. Unfortunately you will probably just have to buy a new one or try to return it or exchange it at Wal-Mart.

Tips regarding bikes accessories. When you buy a bike at a bicycle shop, the salesperson will probably try to push accessories. The shop makes a fairly small percentage of profit on the bike, but a much larger percentage on accessories. In some cases, they make more on what you buy along with the bike than on the bike itself. Consider your needs and remember you can always get more gadgets later. If you ever plan to leave your bike anywhere farther away than you can reach, you should lock it. You can get a good solid bar lock, a less secure chain or cable, or a very minimal but lightweight lock. In some situations, a minimal lock is sufficient. Left overnight in a dark urban alley, there is no lock that is sufficient. In most cases, you should buy a lock as soon as you have a bike. If you think you will ever be caught out after dark, consider a good blinking light or two. A helmet is a very good idea. Remember that 70% of bike accidents don't involve cars, so your helmet can save you even if you are riding entirely off-road. I personally like a mirror for riding in traffic. I want to know what is going on behind me. If I see something crazy, I'll be able to get off the road until it passes. You can also buy carrying equipment, although a plain old backpack is the best way to carry a light load. There are many more things you can buy for your bike such as fenders, speedometer (cycle computer), different pedals, tires, handlebar grips, and so on. One thing you can do when buying a new bike is to bargain at the bike shop for free or reduced-price accessories plus free installation. Don't be afraid to ask. Most bicycle shops are in competition with other stores, and will be willing to consider some negotiation if they think you might buy somewhere else. The range is going to be less than 10% in most shops. They don't make a whole lot on the bike itself. And, they'd rather give you additional products instead of cash off, because it costs them less to give you a $20 tire pump that they bought wholesale than to give you a $20 reduction.

Need back tire for barbie bike.where to get?

I imagine the tires have a brand name and their exact specs embossed on the sidewalls. Hit the search engines and eBay. You may end up having to get a new pair if color match is important. ANY bicycle shop and many big box stores that sell kids' bikes will carry something that will fit.

How popular are electric bicycles or bikes now? Would it be worth it selling electric bicycles or bikes on a website? Give your opinions and how they compare to mopeds/scooters in sales. Thanks!

I don't think it would be worth investing in the electric bicycle online just yet. The moped/scooter will be more popular still for a while. Especially if gas price keeps going up people will buy mopes, scooters and motorcycles before they will electric bicycles. Although I would take a quiet electric bike over a noisy mopeds. It will take a big change for the electric bike or even a regular bike to take precedent over a gas powered vehicle.

I bought a set of EZ trainer training wheels at Goodwill for my Granddaughter a couple of months ago. I was going to put them on her bike today but then realized that there was no hardware with it. Only...

Doubtful, There may be a spare parts kit available through a distributor that a bike shop can order for you. And/ or if the particular shop carries alot of childrens bikes then they may have some spare hardware.

Training wheels are the kind of product that is carried as a complete unit, and ordering spare bracket kits which are not much less than the complete kit is generally not worth it to a shop.

Go into your local bike shop and see what they can do for you, Who knows they may have the parts and will install for you as well. Good luck.

I need to collect and carry a 26'' wheel adults bike ina ford fiesta - is this possible?

Hi,

Wow, that'll be a tight squeeze. You could try take the wheels off and loosten the handlebars so they turn sideways.. Alternately do you have a towbar? You can rent a bike carrier. Or there is always the roofrack. There are a couple on the market that are basically pads or inflated tubes held in place with straps and are a lot cheaper than metal racks, especially if you won't get a lot of use from them..

Good luck!!
