Hello smoozie73, if by chance you didn't 'create a "Supervisor Password" to prevent anyone from changing the configurations in the BIOS / CMOS Setup? than we are 'OK!' Lets just say [No] for now. Bootup / Start the computer, and follow these steps: 1. When you hear the computer start-up, there will be a message that flashes very quickly at the bottom of the screen, it will read; Press F2 or F12 or on other "Computers, the 'Key Sequence may be [F11]..." The area of your attention will be [F2] Key at the top of the keyboard. The F2 Key will open the CMOS / BIOS Setup.2.Once this screen appear, you will see a 'Listing" of different set-ups. There will be instructions in the [right] Help ? area. You be using the "Arrow Keys" to (Select and Choose Items). In the first screen, there will be on the (right of the screen). 3. Set Supervisor Password = This is the "Password Setting that will prevent anyone from getting into without authorization this area that you are in now, to "Change or Configure" CMOS or BIOS setting. 4. Set User Password = This Password is use for "Logins /User Accounts... You want to "Reset or Change the Supervisor Password. Do so, and to finish; remember to use the [F10 Key] to 'Save the Changes.'Thanks for using Fix' Ya, and I hope this fix it, paul7of9
Hi, The only solution for u to login in to the router is to reset the router.
1.If you forgot your password, you must reset your router. Unfortunately this process will change all your settings back to the factory defaults.
2.To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process.
3.Wait about 30 seconds to access the router.
4The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. When logging in, type in the default User Name “admin,” and the default Password “admin” then click on the OK button to access the web-based manager.
As soon as u start the Laptop, start hitting F8 Key Cont. it will take u Safe Mode, click on safe mode, may be cud find another user account, Go to Start - Control Panel - User Account - Select ur User Account and Remove the Password.
& if incase u dont have any other User Account, then u will have to contact ur Manufacturer or u will have to Restore ur computer to Factory Settings.

Try to get your hands on a windows installation disc, or even the recovery disc that came with the computer. If you get the windows installation disc, you can reinstall windows onto it. That is basically what you can do.
ok, ayel, if you are running windows XP try this...
Boot into Windows normally then press the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys
sequence together twice, and you will be shown a Log On to Windows menu with options to enter a User Name and Password.
In the User Name text
box, type Administrator and leave the Password
field blank. Then press Enter or click on OK. If there is no password
protecting the Administrator account, or a blank password is set, then you
will be able to access the Windows with full administrative privileges
once you're in, go to the control panel, users, and change the password for your profile! ;-)
even if this all works, i still think you should contact the repair shop and ask them why you aren't able to boot into safe mode.
