I have an dell computer and i have forgot the password to get in it. how can i get in my computer without a password

try loading the computer in Safemode, while booting the computer press F8 and select safemode, and you will have a user named as "administrator" (if you did not delete the user before from safemode). this user may not have any password. login to it and go to start>control panel> users> and select your user and change/ remove password.

If this doesn;t work, please download the software named hiren from this
URL http://www.hirensbootcd.net/download.html
and run it from the CD or a flash drive. this will load a virtual windows OS and you can change the password from there by going to control panel, users.

Hope this helps.

Cant log in windows!

Restart the computer and as soon as it starts booting up start tapping on F8 key on your keyboard.
The computer would show you advanced boot options.. select "Safe mode" from the list.
When it asks for Administrator's password, leave the password blank and hit enter .. If you have not set any password for the safemode (normally many users don't) then it would log you on and you can go to the control panel and reset the administrator's password or you can even create a new user profile.
Once you complete the above process, restart the computer and let it boot normally.
Now try logging in with the new password or the new user account that you might have created while in the safe mode.

Let me know if that works for you. All the best.
And yes, Do not forget to rate this solution :)

Srinivas.

try using a blank password or start in safe mode(usually hit f5 of f8 on start up) and change the password for that user or make a new user in user accounts

What can i do to unlock my hp laptop,is asking me for a password and i have no idea..

Is the password being asked in the bios level or the operating system user level??? is its the bios, then u will need to take off the bios battery for ten seconds and put it back in, if its the operating system, one and best way, is to have the operating system freshly installed, or go to safemode, and enter as an administrator, and change password of users or better, elminate the passwords.

Forgot my admin password how do logon

-There are two ways to access system 1 is for the admin and the other is for users.

-If you have forgotten the password for the USER , you may want to try this thing.

Winsows XP:
-Restart the computer-press f8 until you reach windows advance option menu-click safemode w/ command prompt-type c:windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe -choose a date that you remember you can logon properly on your system.
- Follow the instructions given to perform the System Restore process.

Windows Vista:
-Restart system -press f8 until you reach windows advance option menu select REPAIR -select appropriate language settings -choose system restore.- GUI system restore page will come up -choose a date that you remember you can logon properly on your system.

-LAST OPTION
- Boot using the WinVista Installation DVD, then Run Repair Options- Launch command prompt, then type
-net user administrator /active:yes
-This will enable the “The Administrator account” in vista. Then try to boot normally back in vista.Take note that “The Administrator” account will be an option in the login screen Login using the administrator account then browse on the damaged profile under c:\users\exampleprofile Then try to copy all the files on the folder to a temporary folder. Delete the damaged profile eg. c:\users\exampleprofile .Create a new User Profile with the same name as the damaged user profile. You can do this in Control panel/User Account . Copy all the files from the temporary folder to the new user profile created. Restart system
-IF No..GO -Back-up -Reinstall windows

When i turn my laptop on it goes through the start up process however when complete it just shows a blue screen with the windows logo, i cant access anything because there is no files, menus, nothing at...

its a little problem without the windows disk but try this steps.

Turn on the computer-while booting press the F8 key until you have an option to choose safemode.
then choose safemode, once on the safemode, if you have install somoething on your computer, try to uninstall it, if not then on the safemode try to back up your files.Scan for viruses and spyware.

If this may not work then I suggest you get a windows setup disk.
