Please do not feel offended, but are the batteries installed correctly? It's just a question I have to ask.

Then, I would ask if the USB port you are using can be used for another item, such as a flash drive. If you did a system restore you may have to install a USB driver. What make and model mouse are you using? Was there software to install? What make and model of computer are you using? What operating system?

Hi, does the usb port work with anything else? sounds like it does not, if you bought a new one and it still does not work. usb if this is a desktop buy a new pci usb card-if a notebook get a pcmcia or express card with usb, this has been a solution for me and others in the past. good luck, hope this helps you!

USB mouse not working?

Ok don't worry. Sounds like you need to Unplug the mouse for a sec then re-plug it back in to reset it. If the mouse is wireless then try replacing the batteries. Cause a wireless mouse can still turn on if batteries are weak but won't have enough power to connect to the receiver connect to the desktop/laptop. Try doing so and let me know if this solves your issue.

How to fix a trackpad that quit working as well as any external mouse

Have you considered doing a "System Restore"? You could just restore back just previous to the date when the mal-function began. I bet that would fix it, and you don't loose most personal stuff.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore

If this has helped, please take a sec to rate me. Thanks!

GE Wireless "Malfunction" "Unknown Device"

Does the mouse and/or keyboard have a "connect" button on the bottom of either? Try restarting your PC, then, if you have installed new batteries, and the mouse/keyboard is still not connected, try the "Connect" button if any.

My wireless logitech mouse stopped working

This may seem weird and maybe not what you're looking for but- I have the same problem with my logitech mouse occasionally. The only thing that I have found that works is, I unplug the mouse and plug in my spare wired mouse. Usually after I use the wired mouse for about 2 hours I can plug in the logitech mouse and it works again. Sorry I don't have better advice for you but I know how aggravating it is and this works for me. Gook luck.

Mouse quit working

I think you said you changed the batteries. if so try the following.
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
