Try to replace the compressor start capacitor, located on the outdoor unit, remove top cover. Check mfd rating and replace with same.

Hi I have an lg wall split ac and it worked fine a and just stoped not even coming on and there is power

Check for power at the on/off switch terminals. If power is there but won't start with switch in on position, check switch for continuity. If good meter will read 0.00 if bad no reading will display. Continuity checks are NEVER done with power on! Make sure its unplugged from the power source.

How to check high level switch in maytag dryer

Use a ohmmeter to check for continuity. The switch should have continuity when cold, but no continuity when open (over the preset heat limit), but watch this video.

My fan runs continually, even when I switch the thermostat to 'off' between the heat and cold setting.

There would be a relay,or transistor malfunction in the unit that controls the fan motor.

Its won't light. The flame is there but won't light up.

Sounds like you have and open limit switch trace the wires from the gas valve one will go straight to the terminal board the other one will go through all the safety limits take an ohm meter (an ohm meter beeps or lights up when you touch the leads together showing a direct connection also called continuity) and check each limit switch by touching one of the meters leads to one wire on the switch and the other meters lead to the other wire on the switch if no continuity is there your switch is open some switch's have little reset buttons on them. Find the open switch and reset or replace.controlltech_9.jpg

Fan doesnot come on

dear sir

if you know how to read a electrical tester then open control panel box and find out there selector switch and check electricity is reaching till selector switch then find out fan motor wire after that tester turn to continuity testing mode and check continuity between all wire of fan motr if there is continuity then it,s mean motor winding is ok and problem in other device then check one bye one all device . if there is no continuity in fan motor wire then it,s mean fan motor is faulty and it need to replace .it,s up to if you can do that by your self or take help from a technician.

We have a White-Rodgers 1F80-51. The fan blows

Usually when the furnace blower motor runs all the time
The limit switch or rollout switch is usually open or bad.
The furnace board is seeing that one of those switches is open, so it brings the blower on to try to get the heat out of the combustion chamber area, so the switch will close. But if the switch is bad and won’t close, the furnace board will keep the blower running continuously.

Furnace fan

What type of system do you have? The auto/on switch on the thermostat will cause the fan to run continuously.
