Yes there is, go to Paslode.com and on the left side of the site is an area where you can enter your information to get the manual and breakdown. If you still need help let me know, I have been factory trained on the Paslode tools.

Edge with slots goes against the cylinder and the smooth top edge of the seal goes against the headvalve. Remove the headvalve and lube with white grease. You can save some money by using Ridgid seal #07902001013. Same part less money. Good luck

[Paslaod 404466] How to put the magazine back together?

if this is the part I am thinking of it goes under the metal plate that lays in the housing you would need to have the tool in half and lift the plate and you will see a recess where they fit. if you are looking at the back of the gun it would be the left side of the housing. You can also try going to paslode.com and downloading a breakdown.

Hi,

Look up your gun, they have parts for it there...
They also will have an exploded diagram of your gun so you can see how it goes together.

I TOOK IT APART & CAN'T GET IT BACK TOGEATHER

it goes under the side where the follower is, you will need to remove the cover on that side and pull back the follower, you will see the slot where it rides, also there was a spring that pushes it out of the way. I suggest going to Paslode.com for a parts breakdown. Let me know if I can help further.

Friend took my 900420 nailer apart to clean it and when he got done, had a small spring about 3/16" x 1" left over. Does anyone have a clue where it might go?

Thin spring?
Goes in-between the Follower Guide and Button.
There are several Coil springs used in a Paslode 900420 framing nailer.

1.In-between the Upper Probe and the Lower Probe.
(Safety device you depress so the gun will shoot)
2.Trigger
3.Lockout Bar
4.Follower Guide and Button

(There is a flat spring also. Goes in-between the Probe Stop and Probe Release)

Here let me show you,

Duofast stapler shoots a staple as soon as i plug in the air

I have rebuilt many older Duofast staplers and have seen the problem that you describe. Duofast staplers have twice as many orings as other brands of nailers. Some people say that the nailers are over-engineered. I say that they were built to last a lifetime and need extra care when working on them. Duofast relies on various springs to reset functions or operations. For example there is a spring within the trigger valve that you do not see when you are rebuilding that may be weak and cant overcome the friction of the new orings. That spring resets the trigger after firing. If you replaced all the orings but did not replace any of the springs within the gun, it will take a while for the gun to get back to normal. I use new springs and lube all the parts with silicone lube instead of oil. Silicone lube is sold at Lowes in the plumbing department. It is used to lube orings in faucets. Instead of taking the gun apart, try using a little extra nailer oil in the gun and cycle the gun with-out nails dozens of times to work-in the new orings. If the problem does not go away, take a look at a breakdown and try streaching all the springs just a bit, or make sure that all the springs are in place. Also make sure that the head gasket is in good shape or the oring that seals the headvalve port to the body. Good Luck with your repair and email if you have other questions.
