Get out of BIOS before you kill somebody..haha just joking...
click on start>control panel>network connections>right click on your computer icon that says wireless and click disconnect. Then do the same thing when you want to start it back up just click on connect.. Let me know how it goes.

I couldnot find my bluetooth device on my laptop i have succesfully installed bluetooth driver but when i open the my bluetooth places it is asking bluetooth device not found

if it is like my Aspire7110..it is compatible with bluetooth...but has no reciever or transmitter...it only has the capability handling software drivers to accomodate functioning with bluetooth..you may need to either add a peripheral USB device to send and recieve bluetooth signal...or do a search of internal hardware and enable the hardware that allows it to function... ...let me caution you though on using multiple types radio signals for sending and recieving DATA. at the same time....it seems to carry the possibility of confusing WI_FI signals and other wireless instruments that you may be utilizing...so it may be a good idea to disable your wireless during the time that you are utilizing bluetooth..(just a suggestion)...
enjoy your bluetooth experience..lol

Keep losing the wireless signal on my laptop.Checked the Router everything is fine, the laptop has a built in reader.stops working even if it is next to the Router, and sometimes goes altogther.

1. Disable or remove Norton Security (usually the problem with intermittent wireless).
If that doesn't work:
2. Disable any wireless TV transmitters you have in your house. 3. Turn off all PCs, then restart the router. Wait until all the lights have stopped blinking, then start up the PC(s).

MY LAPTOP HAS STOPPED RECIEVING WIRELESS SIGNAL FROM MY SKY ROUTER .LAPTOP WORKES FINE WITH YELLOW CABLE CONNECTED ANY IDEAS DERE BRADFORD

Are you sure you have not accidently turned off the WiFi connection on your laptop? On my laptop it's "function" plus F2. This turns on the wireless card inside your computer so it can receive signal from your router.

My laptop window vista can not receive a signal. It says "wireless association failed because windows did not recieve any response from the wireless router or access point. wat should i do?

You will have to make sure your router is sending the signal out. Make sure your laptop has the right access codes. Make sure the router is set to send a signal to b/g/n type adapters like the one on your laptop.

Windows Vista is an easy operating system to manipulate so go into your network program area and double check to make sure all the open access boxes are checked. Good luck. If your laptop adapter is ok, and your router's wireless signal is being sent out properly, your problem is minor.

Laptop driver needed

Hello,

You dont need a driver for the wireless router. If your laptop can recieve wireless signal(from a wireless router) all you need is an active internet connection, configure the laptop and router to distribute the internet, you're good to go.

If your laptop cant recieve a wireless signal from a wireless router then you might need a USB Wifi Dongle.

Disable internal wireless network card

Well I would access the BIOS on his laptop and do 2 things. 1) Enable a BIOS password and set it. 2) If the laptop has a BIOS controllable wireless setting , disable it. But this will disable the wireless TOTALLY.

Otherwise you need talk to your neighbor and have them set a security on their wireless router.

Three different wireless cards could not connect to the wireless-G Router I need to confirm WEP and check router settings.

Plug an ethernet cable into the router and laptop, remove the wep key. See if you can connect wireless then. If not sounds like you need to manually remove the the connection from the connection properties (DONT DISABLE THE NETWORK ADAPTOR) then see if you can connect.
