Kindly reseat the cartridges 2 time and then close the access door .Clcik on Menu on the printer and scroll down and choose Clean printhead and select "deep cleaning"
Print a demo sheet after the cleaning process has been completed. If ur issue persists,Call Kodak @ 1800 421 6699 and they will replace printhead of the printer free of cost.
Printhead is the part which takes the ink out from the cartridges.Probably the printhead of the printer has gone bad.
are you sure already check the box "Black and White" ? reconnect the printer, turn it on, & open the 'preferences' or 'options'.
Look for the Advanced tab, click, and check the box 'Black & White' printing. i hope that work..
take out both cartridges from ur printer,install them again. ry to print again.kodak printers works on the mechanism that even if ur printing black and white documents, it will take ink out of colour cartridge as well . try to upgrade the firmware of ur printer by going to www.kodak.com/go/downloads and downloading latest firmware from there on ur desktop,connect ur printer to computer and run that file. restart ur printer,ur issue will be resolved.
My printer will not print black ink. The color ink is very light. I replaced a new color cartlidge, cleaned the printheads and tried to callibrate, but the printer could not identify the callibration page from my scanner. Can you help me resolve my problem?
