Question about Samsung SGH-i450 Cellular Phone

My Samsung Beat 450i not recognised in Linux.

My Samsung Beat 450i is not recognised in Linux. I tried installing the software from the disk that came with it through Wine but it dint go through successfully. Now I have a phone to which I can transfer nothing.
Kindly help me out in this. Thank you in advance.

I had a similar issue with my LG 6300 CDMA. After all the installation, it was not able to find a valid usb port. I did lot, but nothing worked out. Finally I gave up. To run any windows applications, wine may not work all the time, that to when it is using usb port. So I suggest you to use vmware or virtualbox and install windows OS on top of it.

My samsung phone is not connecting through data cable with my pc. i bought a new samsung set of beat addition 2 days before for using internet through data cable. but my phone is not connecting with my pc...


run again your pc studio cd software installer..
by default, it will play and give the swf home page where there is an option for install usb driver. select install usb driver in order to install your usb driver but before installation disconnect your phone from pc and remove the usb cable. once it's installed, right click your PC studio and select open automatically when device is connected.
>>on your phone, select settings,select settings for your pc connections, check ask for connections and reconnect your phone.

Uploading files to computer?


Upload the Beat software PC Studio. Then go to setting and USB select PC Studio connect phone to computer and there you have it.

I have a samsung g600 phone and have connected it to the computer without the samsung software it wont recognise the the phone I then downloaded the software and the updates from samsung same problem I get...


that depends on what computer are u using or what operating sistem XP,Linux,etc the problem comes from the operating sistem maybe is to old and has some bugz try to restore ur op sistem
