Question about Heating & Cooling
I think we might have had power surge or similar as the fuse tripped i have turnd it back on but the air con still wont start.... it is 42c deg ..help please !!!!!!!!
There is a capacitor that blows from surges it will have an burnt smell to to and may show discoloration. careful it may have a charge in it. does the moter cycle on and off? If so it could be blown. Another thing that helps is if the motor has been trying to start repeatedly it will overheat you will need to turn it off and allow to cool down before restarting.
