Question about PC Laptops

Acer Aspire 5580 System always restart after diskcheck

Well the problem for my laptop started when i'm using it then it hang so i decided to remove the battery but when i restarted it i only see the screen having power but no display.

So i connect a VGA monitor and restart it again. After this i saw the start-up screen but when it always end-up in diskcheck then it after the diskcheck the system will restart and back to the start again. this happens when i pick the "last known configuration" and "Start windows Normally" option.

I try accessing all kinds of safe mode(with command prompt, network) but it hangs again.

Help me please... Is there a way to fix it without reformatting or deleting any important files. I need those files because it contains my thesis...

For the first question, I don't know how..

For the second question: I can press F8 however whenever i tried to get my laptop to safe mode it will load the necessary files but will then stop(most probably it hangs because it was like that for 30mins) while loading a certain system32 file.

For the last question: After the windows screen(black screen with windows logo and a bar scrolling left to right) it will perform disk check then the screen will black out and the system will restart again.

Thank you for taking notice of my problem

Ok next part. Still in your other computer do a search files for NTOSKNRL.EXE. This is the file that actually turns all of the other files over and starts up your operating system. It should be located in C:\WINDOWS\I386\NTORSKNL.EXE and C:\WINDOWS\System32\NTOSKRKNL.EXE
Copy the first three files over to C:\ on your down system. You should be able to just drag them over.
    Copy NTOSKNRL.EXE to C:\WINDOWS\sysem32\KROSKNRL.EXE and C:\WINDOWS\I386\KROSKNRL.EXE.

More to follow but we almost there.

    ok great.
On the other>computer click on start>all programs>accessories>windows explorer>Tools>Folder Options>View>. Then click on the buttons in the list to "Show hidden files and folders>and uncheck hide protected operating system files.(This is because the files we need are hidden for view)
Then click Apply and OK. Click on start>My Computer>then double click on the C:DRIVE. You should be in another window that says these files are hidden. On the top left click on "Show the contents of the drive"
You will need to copy three files so put a cd in. Scroll down the list and copy boot.ini->/NTDETECT.COM-> and NTLRD to a blank CD. Those are three files that will get your computer booted back up. Start on that and I will send the rest of the instructions. If you have any problems let me know.

Ok since you have some important files we will do this the least invasive way possible. Let me explain what is happening then we'll get started. When you're system starts it needs four files to boot all the way into your Windows Operating System:
    NTLDR
    BOOT.INI
    NTDETECT.COM
    NTOSKRNL.EXE
What each one of them does we'll discuss later since it is a moot point right now. So we have to get those three files copied over to a CD ROM and then boot from the CD ROM to get into the Windows directory and your system will start. It appears one of those files are corrupt. It is not a hardware problem because all of your hardware is working fine.
Option 1: If you know anyone with a computer that you can get with or if you have another computer with Windows; those files are easy to find as they are under C:\. There are hidden files though so I would have to direct you how to get then un-hidden to copy them. Do you have another computer to copy those from?

3 Questions. Do you know how to change which drive to start up to from your hard drive to your CD ROM in BIOS.
Are you able to click on F8 upon startup and get into your computer in Safe Mode.
Is it hanging up before you get to the Windows screen or after you are already in WIndows..

It make a big difference on the fix depending on where it is hanging up.

Ok have you been able to do those things because the hard work is over. If you were able to copy those files over then start up your computer we may not need to start from the CD.
If not then we have to get your computer to boot from the CD. Start your down computer and upon startup look for instructions that say "hit this key for system" it goes by quick. For Acer it should be Del or F2 or older models its F1 or Ctlr-alt-delete.
Once in BIOS just arrow over to where it says BOOT option. And with the arrow key change the combination to put your CD ROM at the first slot. Once that is done put your CD in the drive with the four files on it and boot up. Your computer should go into the operating system normally.

After all that let me know how it goes...the only other option is to reload your operating system which means all of the files will be lost....

Troubleshoot acer 5580 laptop when program and files are opened , it hangs

Some reason of hanging the laptop during opening a program is the low speed of the memory modules. But the main reason of this is the virus containing the files or programs. The best way to clear this is to reformat your laptop. You need to have an Windows CD and the installation CD of your laptop motherboard.

ASpire 5580 series, no power

Hi Dhadha,
Try this: - remove AC adapter plug - remove the battery - insert the battery again. - try power up the laptop.
I have same problem, but this trick always work, and I always do this every power up. :)
However, I am using a usb optical mouse for an indicator. When inserting the battery, I check the light on the mouse. If it is flashing the second I insert the battery, then the power up will be successful. IF it is not, then remove and insert the battery again.
Try it.
