Hi,

Even if you see the sound driver in control panel, it doesn't mean that it is already okay. You may still need to reinstall or update it for it to properly work. Here are the things that you need to check though.

- Volume - make sure that it is not muted. Note that for some models, there is a function key on the keyboard that you press to mute and unmute the sound.
- Reinstall or update the sound driver. This usually resolves issues regarding sounds.

Hope this helps.

hi,
if you have an issue with the sound, you can always try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the sound card.
what you need to do is:
- go to start
- right click on computer then left click on properties
- go to device manager on the upper left side.
- then go to sound= click on the plus sign > then right click on the sound drivers and then choose uninstall.
- then on the top, look for an icon to scan for hardware changes and Windows will re install the driver automatically back.
You can now try to play the video again. This should play the sound normally.
if this still doesnt work, you can try to download and reinstall the sound card drivers.
Go to this link to download the drivers.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Good day. What could have happen is that your sound driver encountered an error. This means the software for your sound cards got corrupted. You can fix this by having those drivers reinstalled. Usually the drivers for your computer is included on the installation disc provided when you purchase your laptop.

You can also:
1. Scan your computer for viruses
2. Scan computer for possible error

Hope this information was helpful to you. Have a great day.

My speakers are on but sound does not come out, There is beeping noise when turned on to full. Any help?

Hi,

Well, you don't loose your sound, you loose your sound card setup and driver, you need to reinstall the audio card in another slot PCI, ( if is a external sound card) and install again the sound card drivers. If is internal sound, onboard audio, you need to go into BIOS and disable, and reenable the audio card, and reinstall the drivers. it should work

Good luck!
And Thanks.

No sound

i think you need to reinstall the sound driver and check whether it appears in the CONTROL PANEL->SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES. When you click the sound and audio device, your sound driver name should appear. If problem persists then it might be hardware problem.
