Question about Linksys WRT54GX2 Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX200 (LS-WRT54G2)
I have had a linksys router for a year or two now with one computer connect by ethernet, two connect by wireless, and every once in a while my xbox which is also wireless. for the frist couple months we had this router, it would diconnect the internet about every 45 minutes and i would have to get behind a huge desk, play with wires and reinstall stuff just to get it to work. this stoped when we stopped using both the software for our isp and for the router. Now i need to change a configuration. I need the NAT type to be open for better use of Xbox Live. Not that I know there is a way to change my NAT type to open with the Linksys software, but is there a way to do it without this anoying software that i cannot find?
Since NAT has to be set on the Linksys...
you will have to use the software provided by linksys, or use a web based interface which connects to the linksys and you can do the respective changes...!!!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
