Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I get my internet through Verizon's 3G Broadband USB connector that plugs into your computer. It accesses he internet through the Verizon cell network using 3G. I have not clue how to connect my PS3 the the internet using it.
If your computer has built in wireless, set up a private wifi network and connect your ps3

Unfortunately the PS3 will not be recieving internet through this device, the USB connectors are set up to only work with PC or MAC specifically for that reason that gamers cannot use their Xbox or Playstation, and that is because Verizon offers a Wireless router cell phone data device which costs almost a thousand dollars, definately not worth it.

You need to setup internet sharing in windows and then connect the PS3 to the PC using a "cross over" network cable

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
