Question about Computers & Internet
I have my lap top more then year and couple days ago my wireless stop working. it was looking like i dont have wireless adapter at all, and i was thinking that maybe some virus did that so i reinstall my windows and my wireless was working ok next two days, but now doesnt work again. Also when i was reinstalling my windows my laptop was turning off without reason, like at meadle of formating my hard drive. If u can make any guess what can be i will be very thankfull
Check to make sure you don't have a manual switch on your laptop, I have a Lenovo T60p the switch is in the front so some times I pick it up and I kind of turn the switch half on and half off. Same result no internet until I turn it all the way to the on position and reboot. As far as the turn on and off sounds like it could be a battery issue. Try running your laptop without the battery in it and use just the power cord to see if you get the same result.
If you think it's a virus try booting up in safe mode with networking and see if you can connect using the wireless and also try wired to your wireless router.
