Question about General Electric GE 7 0 Cu Ft Super Capacity Electric Dryer - DCVH680EJ / DCVH680EJMR - colo

1 Answer

GE Dryer makes deep sounds when hot and tumbling

It only seems to happen when hot. The sound comes and goes as the dryer tumbles. It almost seems like it is overheating. The noise gets louder and louder as we let it go. The clothes get dry and it seems to work other than the loud noise.

GE Dryer Model #DWSR483EB2WW Dryer tumbles,

Does it get hot when you start the dryer, and never gets hot again when its running? The solenoid wire might be opening due to heat, the solenoid is responsible for opening the gas valve, and booster valve. The wire is located in a round plastic sleeve with two electrical contacts sticking out.
