My canon ip1000 printer stops at the middle of printer a photo and does not respond anymore. Hope you could help me solve this problem. Thank you very .

Try reloading the driver after uninstalling the previous driver and restart.
Check if any viruses present or if possible, try reloading the OS.
Check the printer by connecting it to another system.
Still if the problem persists then get the printer serviced by a technician.

Need to reload my drivers

Hello

To reload your drivers you will have to reload the entire operating system and here is how to do so.

Back up all of your user files, because reloading the operating system will destroy all of your data. You can use an external hard drive, thumb drive or an online backup service to save your files.

Insert the restore CD that came with your computer, then restart your PC. The computer will automatically boot and begin the restoration. You will be asked to confirm the reformatting of your hard drive during the process. The restore CD will not only reload the operating system but all of the hardware drivers as well. (If you do not have the restore CD, contact your computer's manufacturer.)

Insert the operating system CD if you do not have access to a restore CD. Shut down the computer and restart it. The computer will boot from the CD, and when the operating system menu is displayed, you will have the option to reload the operating system files. If you take this approach, you might also need to reload the drivers for your hardware by going to each manufacturer's website and downloading a driver for each device.

Everytime I turn my computer on it will freeze

You have a corrupted registry, try rebooting and depressing the F8 key to access safe mode..you will see a black and white screen with boot choices.

Choose "best last boot config" reboot and hope for the best.

If still no go reload windows with the disk and choose option "Reload windows WITHOUT FORMAT". It will replace windows and retain all you saved files. HOWEVER, you will need to reload all other programs, eg Office suite, games etc

I'm trying to reload my computer with the disks that came with it but it only goes to 33% and stops and gives me error 256 then restarts

sounds like a failed hard drive. if you experienced issues with your existing hard drive to warrant you to reload your machine, there is a good chance your hard drive has gone corrupt. thus causing it to freeze when it gets to a certain spot on the hard disk while reloading. this has happened to me on many machines with bad hard drives. i suggest replacing the hard drive
