You should purchase a complete basket strainer assembly. Home Depot or Lowes have some very nice ones. They are a standard size.
Tell them it's for your kitchen sink.

Call Franke Consumer products 18006265771
I think I have a different model and comments below apply to that. Franke was VERY helpful and solved my problem.

Franke 900 strainer basket (903) is same as LIRA 008445. I could not find just replacement strainer and every website or plumbing store said I had to replace strainer and sink assembly. Franke sent me just a new strainer for about 1/4 cost of new assembly. Rubber seal on basket had worn and sink would slowly leak water.

More than likely it's leaking from where the body meets the sink. U might need to pull it apart, clean it up, and re apply plumbers putty to the sink and re apply the body. If you are doing this I would recommend buying a new basket assembly from the hardwear store. Just makes more sence than re using the old one. That is enles it's new. Hope this helps

What is the difference between standard strainer and strainer for food erator? I bought a replacement sink wiht standard strainer, which does not seems to fit garbage disposal

If you need new sink strainer basket for disposal side of sink, you have to buy new disposal.

Each garbage disposal comes with its own strainer basket so that disposal can connect and seal.

First, the disposal strainer basket is installed, and then disposal lifts up and attaches from below.
A rubber gasket comes with new disposal.
Rubber gasket fits between disposal and strainer basket so that disposal seals correctly.

Photo below shows how disposal connects to strainer basket using steel connector ring under the sink.

Two rubber gaskets and a fiber gasket came with new strainer. do i use all the gaskets? what about plumbers putty

You are attaching sink strainer to sink opening.
1) Use plumber's putty. Finger-size roll of plumbers putty is applied around opening from top, or applied to the bottom of strainer basket. (Some sinks require silicone. Do not use silicone unless required by the sink manufacturer.)
2) Sink strainer is pushed into the sink opening, making sure it is centered and level.
3) From below, the rubber gasket is applied first, and then the paper gasket is second, and then the basket locknut.
4) Tighten locknut very firmly.
5) Wipe away excess putty on bottom.
6) Push down stainer from top again, and tighten nut some more.
7) Wipe away excess putty around bottom and top.

8) The cardboard washer lets the locknut rotate easily.

Use foam gasket on sink strainer along with plumber's putty?

Usually the gasket is not foam but black rubber. There may have been a piece of foam as packing to protect the stainless. You would apply the plumber's putty directly to the sink. Insert the strainer directly into the putty, compressing the putty. Under the sink, remove the excess putty that extruded through the opening. Apply the rubber gasket to the bottom of the sink, and then the nut (sometimes a "cup" and then the nut) .When the nut is tight, remove excess putty inside the sink. LEAKPROOF!

Sink Basket leaks and cant be removed cause of silicon adhesive

steady pressure from under the underside of the sink should cause the silicone to flex and eventually release.

You might also try some caulking remover available ot hardware stores. It's a product that comes in a tube and eases the removal of caulking products.

Be sure to look at the label for cautions and materials that it is safe to use it on.
