Re: lenovo 300 n200
Most Thinkpads have screws that fix the keyboard to the laptop. the screws are located on the bottom of the laptop and may have a a small keyboard symbol next to these screws.
After you remove the screws you can lift the keyboard off, there will be two ribbon cables which connect to the motherboard, you need to slide the plastic catches back before you can remove the ribbon cables.

To determine if you need to replace the keyboard, connect an USB
keyboard to your laptop and if the USB keyboard functions properly then
you need to replace the laptop keyboard. If the USB keyboard malfunctions too then the motherboard is faulty. It may not be cost effective to replace the motherboard.
Hi. I would suggest pressing the Num Lock key and see if it goes off, press and hold Function(Fn) button and hit the Num Lock key or press and hold the shift key and press the Num Lock key. Hope This Helps
this might be a keyboard problem for dat u can't help it except chnaging the keyboard... and if u think keyboard is fine, then there might be some spyware infection. This generally occurs & blocks function keys, mouse's right click etc. for that try to scan ur system from a well known anti virus. else try tune up utilities. and if this doesn't works, try to repair ur operating system by insterting the disk & select repair. Dont worry, repairing wont affect ur files on the drive. hope this works. if u like my post, Please rate me, i really need some good ratings.. Thanks
the battery is on the main motherboard. to get to it: 1) remove all power supplies 2) remove the keyboard 3) remove the screws on the bottom, leaving the covers and the one that's holding the optical drive (there's an on/off button engravement nex to it) 4) flip it over and remove the cover around the keyboard, be careful with the connection cables, I think some need to be disconected * you might need to remove the screen unit, too, but i don't think it's nececerry. also, the lenovo manual on the website might be helpful.
