My dell inspiron B120 will not turn on! What

hi there, there are many things that could be wrong here. First, make sure that the battery is plugged in with the power cord. If that doesn't work, it may be that the computer isn't reading that the power button is being pushed. If you know a little bit about computers and how to disassemble them and put them back together, take apart the top of the computer where the power button is, carefully disconnect the wires and look to see that the power button is not damaged. If it is, then you need to bring it to a computer repair shop for them to fix it. If not, then it is something to do with the connection between the power cord and battery not sending power to the system.

Dell inspiron b120 cant see the screen it lights up but you have to press at the top of the monitor to make the image appear on the screen? it actually fell from the sofa and landed flat on the ground the...

check to make sure that the lcd cable are not loose. Best thing to do would be to take off the lcd cable are put it back on so it has a good solid connection. Make sure it has a good connection on the back of the lcd and also where it connects to the motherboard.

After you do that, turn on the laptop and see if the picture comes up normally, if it doesn't then the lcd is bad and would need to be replaced.

Dell B120-loads but no log on page seen

I have the same problem with my Inspiron 8200 - it's the video driver. The system will load but then no log on screen. The solution until you can get an updated driver is to do a power-off reset.
