How do you clean the oven of a Jenn-Aire self clean stove?
The instruction manual's ideas don't work. I tried 409 cleaner with paper towels covering the cleaner for several hours and then tried to wipe it clean and nothing happened. Even the dirty spots on the door don't come clean.

Definitely a partial clog. Remove your ink cartridge and take it to your microwave. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE. Fold up some paper towels and apply enough water to the towels to get wet and damp but not dripping. Heat the wet towels in the microwave to get very hot (about 30 seconds). Now, place the cartridge on the steamy hot paper towel and let the steam and hot water dissolve the dried ink. After the towel cools drag the ink contacts across the wet paper towel and look for a smooth and even line of ink. One smooth wide line for black and three smooth lines for the color . Try the drag test on some dry paper towels for the final test. If necessary repeat the whole process again. For stubborn and very old cartridges let set on the wet towel for several hours and recheck. Good Luck.
If it is cloth I recommend Resolve carpet cleaner (or the generic equal). Go over it afterward with a warm wet towel and let it dry for hours. If it is leather then use a leather cleaner/conditioner as directed. If it is vinyl you can use anything from 409 to Purple Power on a wet towel, then go over it with another damp towel and let dry. Then apply a Armor all like protectant.
Try cleaning nozzle with dry paper towel, cartridge should leave 3 streaks: Yellow, Cyan, Magenta.
If colours on paper seams to be tinted or mixed the cartridge needs to be reclamated, there is no other solution.
If there is an lack of one or more colours try to wipe nozzle with wetted paper towel in window cleaner. After few wipes, 3 colours sholud apper
There are a few things to try first if you have not done so:
If the set has not been "serviced" for several years, unplug it and remove the back cover. You will see 3 large black lens dead center above the main boards-------wipe them clean either with a lens cloth or a paper towel with glass cleaner sprayed on the towel.
If the lens are dusty, the picture will be darker and duller looking than it used to be.
This is the answer I got from Presto. I cleaned it with window cleaner, wooden spoon and paper towels. Dish works great now.
Buzzer sounds when heater:
- is tipped
- rests uneven on floor
- is too close to furniture or wall
- has too much dust on parabolic dish
The most common reason is that the parabolic dish is dusty.
To clean the heater:
1. Unplug the heater and clean it when it is cool
2. Spray a cloth with an all-purpose cleaner such as 409
3. Wrap the cloth around a long handle such as a wooden spoon
4. Wipe between the grate from the outer edge to the center

If you have used a fair amount of low-cost paper since it was new, the rubber transport rollers may be clogged with paper fiber which causes the rollers to slip.
I don't know how accessible the pickup rollers are on your machine but dig through the user's manual to see if they give any clues for removing paper jams.
Access to remove these will often allow you to see (and clean) the pickup rollers.
Use a cloth or hard paper towel with tight fibers and some cleaner such as '409' or 'Simple Green' to wipe the rollers.
This will often restore the necessary 'stickiness' to the pickup rollers.
