For the LexMark Wheelwriter 1000 you can only "Reprint" the information you have typed. Once you turn off the machine the "reprint" mode will not longer retain information.

Does the typewriter have a memory code so I can type a lengthy paragraph on one page and then insert a second page and have the same text typed with the push of a button?

WW1000 does not have an addressable memory, for that you need a WW5, 6, 1500, 30, 35 ect. with store & play keys on the L. side.

How do I use the RePrint or Memory Function?

You didn't give the model of the WW, if it only has a reprint it is not suitable for this application as it will only retype what has just been typed. You will need a WW with a fully addressable memory (store, play and delete keys)
